Scouring Mt. Province

Applicants of Sagada

February 20-26 was a very exhausting week. We scoured the whole of Mt. Province to screen  call center applicants.  I did not know that I would be a member of the screening committee but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Three fourth of the total applicants for the whole of Mt. Province made it through, and that was good.

We reached Paracelis, Mt. Province @ past 5 in the afternoon of the 20th. We started the screening the following day, and the next day, we traveled out of Paracelis – passed through Ifugao, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya then back to Ifugao then back again to Mt. Province. That was the nearest route from Paracelis Mt. Province to Bontoc, Mt.Province. I just hope that they can create a road from Paracelis to Bontoc that need not to pass in the 3 provinces. Our estimated time of travel was 8 hrs (from Paracelis to Bontoc).

We did the screening the following day in the MPSPC gym; top floor! The building was about how many floors; we had to use the stairs, and it was fun! Just a good exercise.

The trail to Mt. Data in Bauko, Mt. Province

We went to Sagada the next day and Bauko the following day. Then during the last day, we went to Tadian. In the way to Tadian, there was this ingeniously named mountain, Mt. Clitoris that entails intrigue.  Decide for yourself if it’s worth the name (Click here).
